Whisper Gay Bar/Lounge

Fantastic food Lovely wine Great environment What more can you ask when going out for dinner whilst on holiday. A short 5-10 minute stroll from Samui Central shopping centre Whisper Wine Lounge is set on 3 levels including an outside area. The food is well presented and all the flavours work really well together. While in Samui I went here twice for dinner and had the Duck Breast and the Steak. Both meals cooked to perfection. It is not just the food and drink here that are good, the staff are really friendly and attentive.

Had a great time at Whisper, was recommended to book in by the team at Alpha ands it did not disappoint. I went for 5 course seasonal taste menu accompanied by a couple of glasses of Puhlia and some post dinner cocktails. All amazing, watermelon gazpacho and the sirloin steak blew me away. I had a 5-course tasting menu and it was an absolutely incredible experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with great taste. Every corner feels cozy and carefully designed. The staff were extremely attentive, very friendly and efficient throughout the entire evening. Honestly, it could almost be a Michelin-star level restaurant here in Thailand, and probably the best in Koh Samui. The food was truly outstanding. The gratinated oysters were the perfect start to the meal, the watermelon gazpacho was even better than the traditional version — sweet, refreshing, and modern. The yellowtail fish with cashew sauce was perfectly balanced, every flavor working in harmony. The meat course was cooked to perfection, juicy, tender, and full of flavor, and the chocolate dessert was absolutely delicious. It’s not typical Thai cuisine, but after several days eating only Thai food, this was exactly the fresh breath of variety we needed. I 100% recommend this place, a must-try in Koh Samui!

Whisper - Super Plush addition to the Alpha resort. A big space 3 main levels from the street front outdoor terrace, the main restaurant level then the Plush upstairs Bar & lounge lots of deep Merlot & Gold tones & dark Classic floors Gorgeous soft lighting throughout. Perfectly suited to any number of Ocassions Food is outstanding . We went 2 nights in a row when we first arrived Alpha it was just that Good! If your staying in the resort dont miss the value here so easy dont have to walk anywhere FAMILY friendly Staff.. Thai Restaurant Floor Supervisor Sittha & his team were exceptional. From my experience on the island I can confirm at this price - it doesnt get any better than this ! I dont remember dish names it was just so consuming a constant flow of superb taste's.
