TonTon Prestige Massage - Pasay Road Makati

The massage is really good, but the receptionist seriously ruins the experience. We’ve been here three times, and every visit she has been cold, unfriendly and visibly unwelcoming. What’s worse is how aggressively she pushes for tips, which makes the situation uncomfortable and embarrassing. We’re happy to tip the therapists for good service, but tips should never be demanded or pressured out of customers. Management should really look into this, because one receptionist’s attitude is enough to drive repeat customers away.

I wish I could give negative stars but sadly, no. I went for a full body oil massage. Several major issues. Firstly, the staff are rude. Not a show stopper though if the massage was good. Spoiler alert, it wasn’t. The therapist was so clumsy and brutal that I ended up with excruciating pain that stayed, I kid you not, about a week. She dug elbows in, pushed knees into tender areas and massaged on bone edges. All at high speed and without an iota of care. Asked her multiple times to take it easy but that just made her more enthusiastic. I felt like she hated me for all of life’s little problems. And then when I thought it couldn’t get worse than that, it could, and it did. I’m not sure if the bed was unclean (probably since there didn’t seem to be a new sheet on it, or where you put your head into the hole), but I ended up with a rash that walked its way down my legs and arms over the next week. Even went to a dermatologist for help. The itching started during the massage and when I got home I notice bumps and welts. I emailed them but, as you’d expect, they didn’t bother responding. Save your money, look after your sanity and, most importantly, protect your health and stay well away.
