To access People's Park Centre without braving the rain or facing the sun, take Exit D from Chinatown MRT. An escalator from Exit D will bring you directly to the doorstep of the shopping centre. This is one of the older shopping centres in Singapore. There is parking for those who drive on the upper storeys. People's Park Centre also has an office building so the upper floors of the centre is home to offices whilst the lower levels including a basement 1 has a varied and large mix of tenants from hairdressing, money and coin interest collectors' buy and sell to travel agencies. There is a food court in B1 and a number of restaurants on other levels mainly on the ground floor. There are also Halal F& B on the 3rd floor.
