Honestly, I had a good experience here. Stayed in a twin- bed room on the 5th floor (room 5551). Everything worked: air-con, mini fridge, shower, sink, toilet, TV, kettle, hairdryer, all the outlets (including an Asian 3-pin which was useful for my Thai laptop charger.) I experienced no problems. The beds were comfortable, everything was consistent. The shower in the bathroom doesn’t have a water heater but it’s not a big deal cos this is Asia. Was given free toilet paper, shampoo, 2 toothbrushes with paste (inside the packs), 2 little soaps, which was nice of them. Fresh towels and 2 bottle of water were brought daily or, if we weren’t in, they were left in a carrier bag on the door handle. The bin was emptied daily and staff made sure we always had enough toilet roll. Was very happy with my stay. Was quiet most of the time- no real disturbances, slept through the night like a baby. Chinese residents can get a little wild downstairs smoking, shouting and I suspect one of them broke the grandfather clock’s glass (which is probably why they put some white card over that) but, aside from that, everything’s pretty grand. I’d come again. No food services were offered but they have the space for it if they want to set that up again. My friend and I would go downstairs to the lobby to get some Wi-Fi for movie nights cos that’s where it’s strongest. Wifi works but it’s quite spontaneous. I wouldn’t use it for online teaching but it’s alright for searches and short sporadic FB sessions. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the Thai Embassy to here. 7-11’s close, just across the road and, of course, open 24/7. I’d stay here again, thanks for having us!

Rooms great. Basic everything you need. WiFi is almost non most of the time. Spent 15 hours without any internet at all. Hot water non for about 10 minutes I was getting angry can't shower. Second shower hot went cold halfway through. Breakfast was pretty awful. Don't know what they served I just ate eggs and sweet toast yuck. Staff can't speak to you and just play phone really loud. Dinner was awful I fight to not pay 2 meal tickets for a plate of fries. Choice of menu was really bad.
