Happy Times Bar

Opening Day !!! Lamb chops ( 3 ) delicious , smooth & creamy mashed potatoes & gravy , mixed veggies, carrots, broccoli & cauliflower. Happy Times Bar fullfills it's Happy promise ! 2023-May-08 Monday ca. 20:15 I (male, Senior, German) came here first Time. That Evening again it was brutally hot (still about 40°C). Sine my Arrival some Days ago the Heat prevented me to come here. But that Evening it was my last Day in Khon Kaen, so I pulled myself together and tried to ignore the Heat. The 'Happy Times' Bar & Restaurant is located close to the Pullman Hotel, where one may find several Bars frequented mainly by 'Farang' (white Persons) and thai Ladies. I came to this Bar because it was opposite of a 'Seven Eleven' Store where I bought some Cigarettes. The 'Happy Times' Bar was the most spacious and regarding the Ambience to me the most appealing Bar. There weren't many Guests and the Music of the 70's and 80's wasn't to loud. Since the Waitress was nice and I was in a good Mood I also paid some Lady Drinks (LD). Here it isn't compulsory to pay Lady Drinks. But for me it goes without Saying because that's how Barmaids make their Living. Other Services for an additional Charge were offered, but that was not my Intention. The Barmaid was surprised that an elder German speaks fluent english. She already knew that many Germans can drink a lot of Beer without getting drunk. I explained both Reasons and we had a very nice Conversation. After about an Hour the Music changed and I left because I wanted to visit the Bars close and directly opposite the Pullman Hotel also. The 'Happy Times' Bar is a good Starting Point for a 'Barfly'. Hence from me a 5 Stars Rating. P.S.: Depending on the Guests Visit, the 'Happy Times' Bar closes more early and already at about 22:30. I had noticed this some Days ago.

Happy Times is a terrific Bar/Restaurant to eat and drink at The atmosphere is very good The Staff and Management are magnificent and most welcoming and English is not a problem The food is varied and delicious

Every time I go there, the cook is either shopping or having a massage...
