It was a terrible experience. I was walking down the street, very drunk, with my girlfriend, and a go-go dancer violently grabbed my arm and ran into the shop where she worked. And they begged us to order drinks, we ordered drinks and they had us sign a consent form for ordering. The two of them forced us to order very expensive drinks for them. Within 5 minutes, we paid almost 2,000 baht, and we only drank one bottle of beer each. We've been to Phuket, Pattaya, and Chiang Mai, and none of these places ever forced tourists to do this. This is the worst scam I've ever encountered in an entertainment venue in Thailand.
