AVOID. AVOID. They RIP you off. Dishonest. I was massively short-changed and derided as drunk by staff at counter after 2 white wines!!I I’m a mature solo female traveller who simply wanted a quiet break after some hectic days-not to be abused.I’m in disbelief and upset to be treated so shabbilly especially when paying for a service in a upscale hotel building and bar. Won’t return. Pluses are nice view, open deck, modern intimate place with prompt service but still advise against. They ruined my night without any cause

TRANS BLUE BAR is located inside Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Bangkok, a hotel operated by a Japanese railway group. If you are visiting the bar without staying at the hotel, there is one thing to know: you need to stop by the reception desk first and ask the staff to enable elevator access to the bar floor due to the hotel’s security system. The location is extremely convenient, with direct access from BTS Asok Station. You can enter the hotel directly from the BTS station area, making it particularly convenient when getting around Bangkok by train. The hotel’s Japanese connection is also noticeable in its clientele. During my visit, a large proportion of the guests appeared to be Japanese. Overall, the access procedure is slightly unusual for a casual bar visit, but the direct connection to BTS Asok Station makes it a very convenient option in the area.

This is a great spot of you want to take a minute to relax in Ashok. The view is great, although you can't see a complete sunset. The service is excellent. Prompt and courteous. The music is relaxing and not loud, so if you want a place to enjoy a drink and chat, this rooftop is ideal. The absolute best prices for drinks and a bite at a rooftop bar. If you go before 7pm, they provide an additional 40% discount on drinks. Highly recommend this place if your on a budget. Smoking corner also available.
