About The Pub
The local watering hole in Ho Chi Minh City known as The Pub has gained quite a reputation as a typical modern hostess bar in Saigon. While some establishments in the area still feature women awaiting gentlemen to settle off-the-books bar fines, those might capture the attention of a specific audience. However, in today's scene, most bars are populated by women simply enjoying drinks and socializing with patrons. This fact may defy the expectations of those with a more scandalized perspective or perhaps harboring wishful thoughts, but it is the prevailing reality.

I have been to hcmc many times for night life. This bar is fair and doesn't meddle or bill pad customers. I'm glad to played with the most challenging pool player there I encountered (I am also decently good) in my ASEAN travels who is Ms. Yến. Anyways there is someone new there with great customer service too, her name is Oanh, for my own reference I call her the 'little lady boss'.
Great place to chill after work, happy hour is very affordable and you definitely cannot complain about the cute friends you'll make :) It's pretty modern and clean with a 2 eDart board setup along with a tournament grade pool table (which they do actually use for local tournaments) and a great refurbed sound system. If you really want to party, head late on Friday or Saturday and buy a bottle (or two, since they always seem to have a buy two get one free promo) to your table and then things will really kick off :P Pro tip: If you don't finish them, you can always get them to save them and come back :)

Tucked right into the energetic center of District 1, it’s the perfect blend of a laid-back expat hangout and a welcoming spot for travelers. Chilled out vibe during the day, picking up a great, buzzing energy as the night goes on. The Staff are super friendly, attentive, and speak great English. They make you feel welcome the second you walk through the door.
