Had a great night, but it was disappointing to be scammed at the end… I would have tipped them for a great night, more than they got out of the scam (1000 for a 100)… be careful here!!
Sorry to say this, I wondered if bartender ever tasted Mojito before, it was like dish-washed water.I left with an 90% of the glass. Recommend bottled beers 😝
Update May 2026: Still my happy place 😁 Once again I've spent 5 happy nights in Orion Bar. Everything I wrote before is still valid but I want to make a few more mentions and comments. A special "thank you" goes to the owner, Mai, his family, the waiters Bi and Eat and other staff 🙏. You're all wonderful people who've made my time in Chiang Mai so happy and memorable. The bar remains unchanged. It's simple but looked after just as much as staff and owner look after their customers. The music was also good, in fact much better than last year. It's a fun place if you just go with it and allow yourself to have fun. I also did a very enjoyable tour to Doi Inthanon with the owner. It was good value, everything was well organised, we had delicious lunch in a beautiful setting and you can be sure of good company. What's more, you don't need to leave too early in the morning 😁. I will definitely be back in Orion Bar on my next trip to Chiang Mai. October 2025: To me, Orion Bar is a great little place. It's welcoming to everyone, you just have to be open to it and find your place. The drinks are reasonably priced, there's a fun atmosphere, the owner is friendly and helpful and the regular waiters Bi and Jord are totally adorable, each in their own way. Of course, like any bar it may not be to everyone's taste but thanks to the lovely staff it's been my happy place for the past 2 nights and will remain so for the next few nights. 🙏❤️

这家位于清迈夜市旁的同志酒吧氛围轻松随性，虽略显破旧却充满在地魅力。老板Mae和店员Bi、Jord热情好客，让人有宾至如归之感，免费台球和桌游增添互动乐趣。饮品价格合理，无酒精潘趣酒是亮点。不过服务品质不太稳定，部分时段员工更关注台球而非客人，偶有骚扰推销现象。适合想体验当地LGBT文化、观察街景的旅人，但需对环境和互动尺度有心理准备。整体而言，是感受清迈夜生活独特一面的不错选择。

Hier passt einfach alles: Atmosphäre: Die Stimmung ist jedes Mal top – egal an welchem Wochentag man kommt. Musik: Die Musikauswahl ist klasse und sorgt sofort für gute Laune. Fazit: Wer eine Bar mit Charakter, guter Musik und familiärem Flair sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Absolute Empfehlung!
