House of HEALS

Just now getting to write this review about our visit to House of Heals. We were in Bangkok for our honeymoon and as a fan of Drag Race and Pangina my husband and I decided it was a must. We made a reservation for a Sunday night and it was everything and so much more. The drag show was incredible, top tier performances from Patara, Pan Dah and more. The host Meannie was the perfect combination of stupid, puss and drag excellence! The most shocking part of this was how hetero the crowd was. My husband and I were the only gay people in the crowd which somehow made it even more special because everyone was having such an incredible time. Please visit and make it rain on these amazing performers.

The establishment doesn't accept cash, only cards, which is really inconvenient If you haven't booked a table, there won't be anywhere to sit, you'll have to stand awkwardly by someone else's table or at the bar, where you can't see anything There are no bar stools, either But the performers are very talented, and the show is wonderful

It used to be electrifying but it seems very commercialised now. I came back after 1.5 years and they don't have the policy of making sure people are wearing proper attire before going up (lost it's class). Now focused on selling tables for 3000+baht after already charging 600 for the ticket, even standing tables they want to charge minimum (it needs to be first come first served so everyone can enjoy). Drinks are expensive but worth it, service staff was excellent and courteous. Performers were excellent though.
