I have visited 3 KTV in Batam last week. The first was K2 KTV (opposite K hotel) in Nagoya area. The room was quite old, sofa torn. Good things were the sound system and song selection ok. I went on Tuesday night, many empty rooms. Booked small room with 1 bottle Hennesy 70ml, mixer, fruit plate, 1 girl (800K), cigarettes. Total bill about 4 million (SGD 340). The girl could sing very well, her name Ferdli, about 25 yo, a little plumb and not playful type. Will not go again. The 2nd was Galaxy KTV, 1st and 2nd time I booked small room with 20 cans of beers (850K++), 1 girl (800K), peanuts, cigarette for girl. Girl singing not very good, not playful. Looked like Japanese, could speak some Japanese, her nickname was Nihata or Ninata (forgot). Total bill for one night about 3 million (SGD 260). I liked the room becuase the place was about 2 years old, the air exhaust was good that I left without too much cigarette smell on my shirt. Last night in Batam, nothing to do, so I invited the hired taxi driver to go Galaxy KTV. This time was 1 bottle 70ml Hennesy, 2 girls (800K x2), peanuts, mixer (coke, redbull, mineral waters), cigarette and vape for the girls. The girl chose by the driver was pretty and ok to be touched. The other was new (2 weeks into the job) and shy. Total cost about 5million (SGD 410 + $100 tips for waiter and girls). Conclusion - for men who like nice clean KTV and reasonable sound system and good service, Galaxy KTV at Harbour Bay Batam is a good choice. Just take the beer package and cost is more affordable.
