Patpong Prices 2026: A Night Around Silom

Patpong does not feel like one self-contained nightlife attraction. You arrive in busy Silom, pass market stalls and side streets, and gradually realise that the evening is split between shopping, casual drinks and adult venues behind separate doors. That mixed setting is part of its appeal, but it also makes “How much does Patpong cost?” the wrong first question.

The better question is what kind of stop you want. Walking around costs nothing. A simple beer-led visit can fit inside 700–1,000 baht. A night with cocktails or optional staff drinks is more comfortable at 1,200–1,800 baht, excluding food and the trip home.

Start outside, not at a doorway

Give yourself ten minutes to get oriented. Patpong is close to the wider Silom nightlife area, so a venue promoter's first offer is not your only option. Look for a menu, decide whether you want a quiet seat or entertainment, and avoid agreeing to an order while the price is still vague.

Current 2026 guidance places local beer around 120–180 baht, cocktails or spirit mixers near 180–250 baht, and optional staff drinks around 200–250 baht. Thailand Nightlife's Patpong guide supplies the district ranges used here. Individual menus can sit outside them.

A beer can be the cheapest part of the evening

Four beers at 150 baht come to 600 baht. Add another and the drinks total 750 baht. That leaves room inside a 900-baht drinks limit, but not much if the next venue uses the upper end of the range.

The total changes when different purchases sit beside the beer. One 150-baht beer and one optional 220-baht staff drink make a 370-baht round. Three such rounds reach 1,110 baht. A traveller remembering “the beer was only 150” can easily miss what actually drove the bill.

Premium spirits create a similar jump. Ask which label the displayed cocktail price covers. If the menu does not show service charge or tax treatment, ask for the final amount before the drink is made.

Door payments deserve a pause

Patpong's streets are free, and many ordinary bars rely on drink sales rather than a general cover. A particular show, venue or event can have another policy.

Before paying, ask what the amount buys. Does it cover entry only? Does it include one drink? Can it be redeemed against the bill? A 500-baht sign can describe three very different costs.

This is one place where a traveller should be comfortable leaving. If the offer changes between the street and the door, or if nobody will state the final price, step back into the public area. Clear terms are a basic requirement, not a favour.

An evening that stays within budget

A low-pressure first visit might begin with one walk through the market area, followed by a drink in a venue with a visible menu. Check the bill after the first round. If everything matches, either stay or move once—not four times with several open tabs.

For a 1,200-baht drinks budget, two beers at 150 baht and three cocktails at 220 baht total 960 baht. The remaining 240 baht handles a higher menu price or one more modest order. At 1,800 baht, three beers at 160, two cocktails at 230 and three optional staff drinks at 230 total 1,630 baht.

Those calculations are not suggested packages. They make the trade-off visible. Removing one optional order saves more than hunting several blocks for a beer that is 20 baht cheaper.

Keep dinner and transport separate. Silom offers many places to eat outside the adult nightlife venues, so paying for food before entering can make both the meal and the bar bill easier to understand.
